Sunday Times PR Coverage

We were delighted to read this The Times and The Sunday Times article from 24th December 2023 (shown in the photograph) by author Tomiwa Owolade who attended last year’s LitFest, summing up his highlights of 2023:

“…The best place was Marlborough. I spoke at a little building just outside a church in the centre of town. I was tense. But as I looked into the warm and welcoming faces in front of me, I became more confident, more relaxed.

The best part of a place is not the buildings, the scenery or the landscape. It is the people. I was in Marlborough less than five hours, because I had to get to another festival, but that buoyant experience of meeting strangers who welcomed me like a friend is indelibly stamped on my memory.”

Thank you to our fabulous audience for giving Tomiwa such a warm but well deserved welcome! We are a small charitable arts organisation entirely run by volunteers. We always hope to provide a really varied programme of fiction, non-fiction, workshops and a wide spread of genres from both new and established authors but ultimately we are nothing without our dedicated, supportive and enthusiastic audiences.
