Friends of Marlborough LitFest

We are very grateful to all those who have become Friends of Marlborough LitFest and to our anonymous donors. Their support helps us run the festival and means that we can expand our outreach programme to pass on a love of reading to the next generation. Friends membership for 2026 has now closed during the priority booking period.

There are five levels of Friends membership:

Authors’ Circle (£1,000)

In response to some generous individual donations, the Authors’ Circle benefits from all of the features of Gold membership (described below) plus the option to support an author event. This support will be acknowledged in the brochure and you will also have the opportunity to meet the author and receive a signed copy of their book.

 

Gold Friend (£500)

    • Six free tickets to LitFest (maximum two per event)

    • Priority booking period in advance of general sales when you can buy up to six tickets for each event you choose

    • Your name in the brochure

    • Invitation to LitFest celebrations including brochure launch, opening and post-festival parties and an author event

    • Access to Green Room at the festival by arrangement

    • A copy of the festival brochure by post in late June

    • A regular email newsletter

 

Silver Friend (£250)

    • Four free tickets to LitFest (maximum two per event)

    • Priority booking period in advance of general sales when you can buy up to six tickets for each event you choose

    • Your name in the brochure

    • Invitation to LitFest celebrations including brochure launch, opening and post-festival parties

    • A copy of the festival brochure by post in late June

    • A regular email newsletter

 

Bronze Friend (£125) 

    • Two free tickets to LitFest

    • Priority booking period in advance of general sales when you can buy up to six tickets for each event you choose

    • Your name in the brochure and on website
    • Invitation to LitFest celebrations including brochure launch, opening and post-festival parties

    • A copy of the Festival brochure by post in late June

    • A regular email newsletter

 

Friend (£35)

    • Priority booking period in advance of general sales when you can buy up to six tickets for each event you choose

    • Invitation to LitFest celebrations including brochure launch, opening and post-festival parties

    • A copy of the festival brochure by post in late June

    • A regular email newsletter

Donate to become a Friend of Marlborough LitFest

To benefit from priority booking in 2026 your details and payment must be received by 26 June 2026.

You can make a single donation for a year of membership (to 31 December 2026) or choose to make a regular donation to keep your Friends membership each year (renewing on the date of your first donation). Your details will not be shared with any other party.
