Ticketholders will have been informed that Jacqueline Crooks has had to pull out of the Hixcox Debut Authors event at 5.30pm on Saturday 30 September as a consequence of the rail disruption over the weekend. However we are extremely fortunate that author and screenwriter Frank Cottrell-Boyce has stepped in to interview our other debut author Ashleigh Nugent about his novel Locks.
Cottrell-Boyce has collaborated with many top film directors and novelists and scripted the 2012 London Olympics Opening Ceremony. He is also an award-winning children’s author and will be talking about his latest novel The Wonder Brothers at 1pm on Sunday 1 October in the Town Hall. Cottrell-Boyce knows Nugent well as both hail from Liverpool so we’re in for a treat, especially as Locks has just landed a television deal.
