The LitFest has always been about encouraging reading and writing for everyone in Marlborough and beyond, whether or not they are regular festival goers.

Local primary schools are invited to enter our annual LitFest competition, usually to create a story or poem using words and/or pictures. The competition is open to primary school children from Reception to Year 5.

A winner is chosen from each year group and is awarded a book token as a prize, plus family tickets to a children’s event at Marlborough LitFest courtesy of sponsor Haine & Smith.
