Marlborough Literature Festival’s Covid Policy
LET’S BE SAFE
We are very much looking forward to having you with us for the Festival.
The welfare and safety of everyone attending is paramount, so we are of course following Government guidelines on Covid safety.
WHAT THE FESTIVAL IS DOING
We are not selling any of our venues to capacity.
Before each event, venues will be ventilated, and hard surfaces that might be touched will be sanitised.
We are implementing an entrance and exit one-way system wherever possible.
We are livestreaming two thirds of our events so they can be watched online.
FACE COVERINGS
We encourage adults and children aged 11 and over to wear a face mask (unless exempt).
HAND WASHING/SANITISING
You are recommended and expected to use the hand sanitiser provided by the Festival at all venues.
SOCIAL DISTANCING AND OUR STEWARDS
We encourage you to follow our one-way systems, be aware of others and follow the directions of Festival Stewards.
NHS TEST AND TRACE
If the Festival is asked to do so by NHS Test and Trace, we will pass on your name and contact details.
Test and Trace QR codes will be at our venues.
WHEN YOU SHOULD NOT ATTEND THE FESTIVAL
If you have tested positive for COVID-19 or believe you may be infected with COVID-19.
If you have been near to anyone who has experienced symptoms in the last few days or has been instructed to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace or is required to self-isolate having arrived into the UK from a destination that requires it.
ANY CHANGES
If Government guidance alters, these arrangements may change. Please check on our website at www.marlboroughlitfest.org or on our social media before you attend.
Thank you for your cooperation.
