Piles of brochures on the bookshop counter

So we’re excited the festival brochures have been printed (take a look at the online version) and it’s wonderful to see the programme in full colour finally.

The Box Office is now officially open for business, both at Pound Arts in Corsham and at our lovely independent bookshop in Marlborough High Street, The White Horse Bookshop.

If you look carefully in the photo above (taken in The White Horse Bookshop) you’ll see our programmes, flyers and fabulous bookmarks, all carefully positioned next to some To Kill A Mockingbird copies. Such an illustrious pairing we think! We are, after all, a festival that prides itself on good writing… With so much hype surrounding Harper Lee’s Go Set a Watchman we’re not sure we’re ready to jump on the bandwagon and read it just yet. Wait until the dust settles. After all, we have a steady and ever engrossing pile of Festival authors to get through first.

Books by authors at 2015 LitFest on display at White Horse BookshopThe White Horse Bookshop has also done a brilliant job of displaying all the attending festival authors in one section of the wall. We do appreciate their support before, during and after the festival – after all what use would a literature festival be without a good bookshop?

So roll up, flick through a programme and read up on which author event you want to see. The only difficulty is choosing which one…
